This videographer was born with a camera in his hand. He grew up in an Iowa farm family that watched too much television. In high school, his photography hobby and love of television developed into an interest in a career in the broadcast industry. He attended one of Iowa's universities with a major in telecommunicative arts.
An internship with a local television station developed into a job offer after graduation. He spent a few years there as a camera operator and liked the work. A video production company soon recruited him, offering the opportunity to develop different skills. He accepted the job offer and gained more expertise in the video industry. Although he enjoyed the challenges, the hours were long with evening and weekend work. He heard of an opportunity to work as a videographer with a production crew involved with educational video. He applied for the job and was hired. He really loves the job and doesn't need to work as many evening hours allowing him to spend more time with his wife.
