Career Profile: Acupuncturist #1207
The patients of this medical professional are different than most because they don't fear needles, they welcome them.
Although this acupuncturist's education focused on eastern medicine practices, she also received schooling in western medicine. This knowledge is very helpful because many of her patients use acupuncture as a supplement to traditional health care.
Needles are the most common treatment for acupuncture patients, however, procedures known as "cupping" and "moxibustion" are also used. The three techniques can alleviate problems associated with pain relief to stress management.
As a former acupuncture patient, she knows first hand the wonderful effects of eastern medicine. She also sees the results of her patients.
