After college, this native Iowan drove a soft drink delivery route for two years. He went through a management training program at the company's corporate headquarters and soon began overseeing the local bottling operation.

He considers himself the coach of a team and spends a considerable amount of time communicating with employees and clients at retail outlets. Math, communication and computer skills are a must for his position. He says his greatest challenge is also his greatest joy, 'working with a variety of people and personalities.'
