Career Profile:
Chiropractor #1165

As a young boy this central Iowa native experienced the helping hands of a chiropractor. Today, as a doctor of chiropractic medicine, he is able to return the favor. This medical professional received his preparation and training from a private chiropractic college in Iowa. He currently owns his own practice.

One of the things he enjoys most about the profession is meeting and working with a variety of people. The daily interaction with patients and the challenge of alleviating their pain are some of the rewards of this career.

A strong math and science background is imperative for aspiring chiropractors. Business and accounting courses are helpful for chiroprators who plan to own a business.
