He is a firm believer that computers have increased the efficiency of mechanics. Some of his computers even plug directly into a car's electrical system and can quickly report a full vehicle diagnosis. It is wise for his mechanics to continue to update their skills because they are paid on commission. The more skills they possess, the faster they finish a repair and the more they get paid.

You might think the typical business owner sits behind a desk all day. However, this business owner/auto mechanic does just as much "hands-on" work as his employees. Not only is he responsible for assigning schedules to his employees and making sure they get paid, but he also works on cars and even services vehicle accidents with a tow truck.
