This captain at a metropolitan fire department has been on the job for over 20 years. In his role as captain he supervises firefighting and rescue situations.He is responsible for training personnel in all phases of firefighting and also must keep accurate records. He oversees the only Water Emergency Team in this metropolitan area.

This firefighter has a fire science degree from a community college and has completed National Fire Academy coursework. He also has a teaching certificate.
