Child Care Provider #1085

This child care provider has a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. Early in her career, she accepted a job in early childhood education center. Once she did this, she fell in love with the age group and discovered that this is her "niche in life." While working at a center, she realized she had the same goals and philosophies as another co-worker. They talked about the ideal program and what research defines as quality child care. They branched out and formed their own child care business. She says it takes more than just a love for children to have a child care program. She understands it is a business, and if the business part isn't working out, then no child care program can exist. She enjoys her work and finds it very rewarding.
