Residential Counselor

A residential counselor coordinates the activities of residents in care and treatment institutions, boarding schools, children homes, and similar facilities. A residential counselor counsels residents, in groups or individually and helps people define and solve social, personal, educational, and other problems. Most develop, or help develop, program plans for individuals and groups. Some assign rooms, maintain household records, and order supplies.
