Chief Executive
A chief executive formulates the policies and directs the operations of non-profit institutions, corporations, and government agencies. Executives plan, organize, and direct activities of the organization through department heads. A chief executive meets with department heads to ensure that operations are being carried out according to the organization's policies. A person in this occupation may plan budgets, select staff, and see to other day-to-day supervisory duties.
