Dream about your future…
Dreaming plays an important role in your career plans. What do you imagine the future looks like for you?
  • Identify your strengths and weaknesses. Divide a sheet of paper in half. Label one side "strengths" and the other side "weaknesses." List as many as you can think of. Be honest.
  • Imagine your ideal career. Mentally walk through a typical day at work. Who will you interact with? What activities will you accomplish? Where will you be? Write down your impressions of the day.
  • Describe yourself ten years from now. What will you be doing? How much education will you have? Where will you live? How much money will you be making? How will you define success? What will your personal situation be?
  • Describe society ten years from now. What occupations will be extinct? What occupations will be in demand? What impact will technology have on the workforce?
