Barb's early interests in music and English took a turn toward math and science and a career in civil engineering. Learn how a desire to "master math and science" motivated this professional to return to college after a long absence and earn a degree in engineering.


Meet the Nurse Anesthetist
"As a nurse anesthetist, 90 percent of the time you're bored and 10 percent of the time you wish you were bored," says John. He enjoys making the quick decisions needed in an operating room and has learned to mix in a little humor when needed.
